Kumar Shashwat Singh Sawno is an advocate with more than four years of experience and has been with S&A Law offices since 2020. Shashwat completed his bachelor’s in commerce and LL.B. from the University of Delhi. During his time as an undergrad, he also cleared the examination of the Common Proficiency Test and the Intermediate Professional Competence Course from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also completed his LL.M. from New York University, where he earned a distinction in the Traditional LLM Course, focusing on international arbitration, corporate finance and valuation.

A litigator at heart, Shashwat specialises in disputes and project advisory which have complex financial aspects involved. This does not only include commercial litigation but also niche white-collar crime issues such as bank fraud defence, anti-money laundering defence and anti-corruption defence.   • Acting as Co-counsel in a port related matter with total claims value of more than Rs. 2,000 Crores and secured award in favour of client.
  • Acting as Co-counsel in a port related matter with total claims value of more than Rs. 5,000 Crores, which was later settled in favour of the Client at the stage of final arguments.
