Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate should have experience in handling Commercial Litigation/Arbitration related to road, port, airport, energy, and mining sectors.
  • Have first-hand experience handling, either independently or as part of a team, arbitration from data assimilation, data discovery, research, calculation of claims, issuance of demand notice, notice invoking arbitration, drafting of statement of claim, statement of defence, counterclaim, related pleadings and applications before tribunals and courts, evidence, and argument notes.
  • Experience in various models, theories, and legal principles regarding quantification of claims.
  • Drafting petitions challenging arbitral awards and other related pleadings and applications.
  • Should have participated in, assisted with, or handled cross-examinations, including briefing senior counsel.
  • Undertake research work, including case-law and technical research.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Qualified and registered with the Bar Council of India.
  • Active legal license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, error-free, legally robust content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
