Role Overview
The Partner Indirect Taxes will lead the Firm’s Indirect Tax, Customs and Foreign Trade practice, providing strategic advisory and litigation services across GST, Customs and Foreign Trade Policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on GST classification, rates, exemptions, input tax credit, valuation, refunds and compliance.
- Advise on Customs, tariff, origin, duty drawback, FTAs, SEZ/EOU and Foreign Trade Policy matters.
- Represent clients before departmental authorities, tribunals, High Courts and the Supreme Court.
- Develop client relationships, lead the team and contribute to thought leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- LL.B.; CA qualification highly desirable; dual qualification preferred.
- 12–15 years of post-qualification experience in GST, Customs and Foreign Trade advisory and litigation.
