Power and Energy- Litigation Delhi

Responsibilities Assumed:

• Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and effectively preparing arguments and presenting them, and advocating on their behalf.
• Hands-on experience in handling Power and Energy matters, specially in electricity regulatory commissions like DERC, CERC, APTEL, etc.
• Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including complaints, pleadings of all sorts, writs, briefs, and appeals.
• Conducting legal research and analysis and advising clients on legal strategic advisory and potential outcomes.
• Collaborating with the team, clients, and attorneys, including senior counsel(s) and paralegals, to ensure seamless coordination, preparation, and management of litigation cases.
• Maintaining regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress, advising on risks and potential resolutions, and addressing their concerns. Manage and mentor junior associates and team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional development.
• Collaborating with business development teams to identify new opportunities and generate business leads for the firm’s litigation practice.
• Drafting informative and relevant legal content such as write-ups, articles, posts, transaction alerts etc., on behalf of the organization
• Having first-hand experience in handling (either solo or as a part of Team) litigation from the stage of data assimilation, data discovery, research, calculation of claims, issuance of demand notice, drafting of statement of claim, statement of defence, counter claim, other related pleadings, applications (before Tribunal as well as Court), evidence, argument Notes, etc.
